About Kate
Kate is a degree-qualified naturopath with a passion for anything related to the brain: how it works, the different ways it can function, why things go wrong, and how we can support it.
Kate works within the paediatric space, where she supports children with conditions such as anxiety, PANS/PANDAS, OCD, ADHD, autism, behavioural issues, concussion, and sleep struggles. A key focus of her approach is exploring and treating the gut-brain connection to reduce symptoms and improve long-term health.
She is a complete health nerd, and loves research and science, wanting to understand deeply the how and the why of the ways our bodies work. She is always wanting to learn more and continues to develop her knowledge in this area through ongoing education and mentoring.
Outside her clinic time, she is busy being a mother to two children and two dogs, living and playing on Wurundjeri land in North Warrandyte. She loves going to bed early with a good book, eating delicious food, coffee, and G&Ts, live music, exploring new places, and long walks through the city or the Warrandyte bush.
Kate’s focuses on finding the causes of symptoms. When we understand the causes, we can make changes for long-term wellbeing.

This intensive training over 5 months, focused on this unique condition that results in symptoms of anxiety, tics, and OCD in children following infection.
However, perhaps one of Kate's most valuable assets is her real-life experience as a parent to two small children. She understands the challenges of managing a busy family while also prioritising health and wellness. Kate has honed her skills in negotiating meal times, supplements, and other health-related issues with her own kids, and she has an array of tricks up her sleeve to help other families navigate these struggles. Her experience as a parent adds a unique perspective to her practice and allows her to empathise with her clients, making her a relatable and trusted healthcare provider for families seeking naturopathic care.
