PERSONAL INFORMATION I COLLECT

When you visit and engage with this site, I may collect certain information about you and your device including information about:

  • the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. This is referred to as automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

  • Information collected by Google Analytics on searches you undertake, the pages you view, your browser type, IP address, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamp information.

I collect Device Information using the following technologies:

Sensitive Information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.

Sensitive Information you may provide me for the purposes of a consultation include:

The Sensitive Information provided by you is used only for the provision of services as your healthcare practitioner.

HOW DO I USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

I use the information collected generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Information to:

I will not charge you to make a request to access your record but I may charge you to actually provide access depending on the costs associated with obtaining and providing the material. Unless I am subject to a confidentiality obligation or some other restriction on giving access to the information which permits me to refuse you access under the Privacy Act, and I believe there is a valid reason for doing so, I will endeavour to make your information available to you within 30 days. SECURITY

I take reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. For example, I maintain my files in a secure office and limit access to personal information to individuals with a need to know. I use cloud storage through GSuite.

However, if you communicate with me via electronic means such as email, Zoom, contact forms or Facebook, I do not have full control over the transmission or storage or any personal information disclosed. You agree that by participating in such forms of communication you understand and accept that there is an inherent risk of disclosure or loss of your personal information for which I cannot be held responsible.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order or book a service through the Site, I will maintain your Information for my records unless and until you ask me to delete this information.

MINORS

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

CHANGES

I may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to my practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
